Baby Boy is Almost Here!
Our whole family is very excited for the new addition that will soon be arriving. Jen and Jason are having a baby boy and this weekend we celebrated with a wonderful "Green" shower, everything was Earth Conscious!
This special cake was designed after the amazing Invitations made by the SIL of the mommy to be (click here for her site ). I love these natural colors. Jen wanted baby blocks incorporated but gave me free range to be creative.
The top tier is Peanut Butter Pound with Chocolate Butter Cream and Covered in Chocolate Fondant(It tasted like a tootsie roll!) Bottom tier was a Vanilla Pound with Strawberry Butter Cream covered in Fondant. Everything is Edible!
Can't wait for the little guy to get here! They are going to be wonderful parents!

30th Wedding Anniversary Re-Creation
I was asked to recreate a wedding cake for a 30th Anniversary. The daughter of the couple wanted to surprise them with this nostalgic re-creation. I had so much fun challenging myself with the piping techniques that were a staple on wedding cakes in the past.
Inside each tier is 3 layers of Chocolate cake with a Strawberry Buttercream Filling and a Vanilla Buttercream Icing. Flowers were hand sculpted with Fondant. The customer has the topper for the cake so I didn't get a chance to take a picture with it.
Happy Anniversary to the Wonderful Couple!

LOVE Cookies!
I recently made cookies for a bridal shower. These Sugar Cookies were decorated with Fondant and Royal Icing, complete with the Bride and Groom's initials and pink daisies. Love at First BITE!
