Bring on 2010!

A year ago I made this cake:

I had no idea what I was doing at the time but I knew I had to start somewhere.

One year, 52 weekends (yes they were mostly all booked) and over 150 cakes made, I have grown tremedously!
Thank you for a wonderful year, it has been amazing. I can't believe how well things have taken off, the response is overwhelming at times but I always find a way to get it done. One thing I have definitly learned is to PLAN, PLAN, PLAN (I thought I knew this one, well being a teacher and all) 3 am emergency baking is not fun! And when it comes to a deadline and you're in a jam, people who you never would have thought to call for help, come to the rescue! (Thanks Mom, Col and Mrs. Mossor)

Thank you to all my clients who have let me into your families to celebrate the most precious moments in your life. I feel truly blessed.

2010 will be the year of Sweet Treats, I have a lot of new things in the works, some that have even surprised me! It's such an exciting time and I couldn't be more Thankful!

Enjoy a safe and wonderful New Year!

Merry Christmas

Finally gettting to post my holiday treats from the last few days: Christmas was low key this year, very relaxing, it's been so busy this year it was nice to have a few slow days to actually enjoy the holidays. Merry Christmas!

Frosty the Snowman, All edible.
He brought a lot of fun and good cheer to Christmas dinner, especially late in the evening ( Let's just say his head was passed around!)

Flavors included: Snickers, Vanilla with Chocolate Ganache, Chocolate with Chocolate Ganche, and Peppermint Patty.
