Bridal Shower Cupcake Tower

These Bridal Shower cupcakes were inspired by the wedding invitation seen below. I had free range with the decrations and thought flowers and bow would add a beautiful effect. Cupcakes are Vanilla with Green Vanilla Buttercream and Fondant Accents.
All the cupcakes set out on a small Cupcake Tower (fits 28-30 cupcakes).
Cupcake Towers are available to Rent for an additional charge. Decrations are included.

Back to Reality

Well Vacation was great while it lasted, but this week has been one of my busiest yet! First we started with Another Phillies Phanatic Cake, these little guys are so popular these days and he is really fun to make! Sorry I didn't get to take his pic this time.

Happy 11th Birthday Avery!

Next we had a few Lollipops for a Bachelorette event. Being a teacher, I didn't feel comfortable posting picture of those lollipops but I'm sure you can guess what they looked like if you use your imagination! Along with that I was asked to make a simple personal Jumbo Cupcake for the party. I fell in love with this one as I was making it, it's so cute!

Happy Birthday Carol, I hope you enjoy your cupcake and the lollipops! haha
Congrats Amber!

Next, I had a cupcake order for a Bridal shower, pics will have to be posted later for I don't want to ruin the surprise for the bride. Check back Sunday.

And Finally the Mother of all cakes, this one needs it's own post!
Check Below

Sesame Street MONSTER Cupcake Cake!

Here it is the Mother of all Cakes, it's actually a Cupcake Cake made of 64 cupcakes. This was the first time I had ever done a cupcake cake and I am actually very surprised how well it went. Usually I work with Fondant, Since each cupcake needs to be free to pull apart from the cake, I used buttercream. This was quite a challenge for me because I had never done buttercream free-hand characters before. I am proud of the way it turned out!

This is also my largest cake to date measuring at 2' x 2' this baby needs to be carried with both arms and let me tell you, it is a work out!

The Smash Cake is 4", about the size of a soda can, so you can imagine how big this cake really is!

Rocco's Elmo Smash Cake
Happy Birthday Little Rocco, I hope you love your Ginormous Cake, you only turn 1 once!

Vacation!

Vacation has finally come and I am thrilled to be able to put away the buttercream and spatula for the week! My Kitchen Aide and I need a break! haha. I going to really enjoy this time because I have orders every weekend for the next 2 months, and I'm so excited for the challenges! Keep them coming!

I can not thank everyone enough for their support over the last 8 months. I feel so blessed to be able to share my art during the most important times in your lives! It just keeps getting better!

Til next week, Happy Baking!
