A True Irish Event
This past weekend was my Uncle Bobby's 60th Birthday along with my Aunt Nancy (his wife's) 58th Birthday. We decked everything out with an Irish flair.
The Cupcake Tower was made with over 100 assorted cupcakes and a Kilt themed top cake.
Top Cake was Vanilla Cake with Strawberry Buttercream Filling, covered and decorated with Fondant. The 60 was hand rolled and sculpted out of Gum-paste.
Cupcake Flavors include:
- Coffee flavored Cupcake with Chocolate Ganche Filling topped with Bailey's Irish Cream Buttercream
- Vanilla with Orange Creamsicle
- Vanilla with Chocolate Ganache Filling and Nutella Buttercream
- Oreo Cookies and Cream
- Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Ganache Filling and Topped with Peanut Butter Buttercream

We Are.....Penn State!
Penn State Cookies made for a Bridal Shower this weekend. I loved incorporating the Penn State Spirit while still keeping a Sophisticated Style with these Favor Cookies. They are Sugar cookies decorated with fondant and adorned with the couples monogram for a personal touch!
A Nittany Lion Paw for a real Penn State Touch!

I'm enjoying the last few days of summer at the beach before the hectic school year starts.
I made Whoopie Pies as a nice Beach Treat, (they are two chocolate cakes with a marshmallow buttercream filling, I added Strawberries to these ones! YUM)
Enjoying our last days of Summer!
To all my fellow teachers, enjoy your last few days kid-free, I know I am!
