Friends Birthdays!

I've had a few friends with birthdays lately, the luxury of having me for a friend....Cake and/or Cupcakes on your Birthday!

Happy Birthday to one of my best friend's Kelly!
With some help from my girlfriends, we came up with all of the things we love about our dear Kelly. Most are inside jokes and it would take a long time to explain them all and some are a little too inappropriate for this site! haha
Happy Birthday Kelly Ann....We All love you very Much!

Happy Birthday to Alicia, who is obsessed with angry Birds, G-Shock watches, and her adorable pups "Remy" and "Macy".
Happy 30th Alicia!

And Finally a Replica of Eric's beloved Camera. Completely Edible!
We captured a shot with his actual camera on the right.
Visit Eric's site to fawn over his beautiful photography skills. http://solitairecollective.com/
He's been all over the place and always seems to capture the beauty in all we miss through-out our day to day lives.

Happy Birthday Eric!

Mr. and Mrs. O'Connor

I had the privilege to make a cupcake tower for Kelly and Pat who were wed this past weekend in the Poconos. They had a very fun wedding reception decorated around peacocks.

Here is what I came up with:

Their Topper, it looked EXACTLY like them!

Banana chocolate

Vanilla and chocolate

Twix with Carmel Buttercream

Pumpkin Cream Cheese

Oreo with Vanilla Buttercream

During the Celebration Weekend, Kelly's niece, Emmi Mae Celebrated her first birthday and I was given creative freedom for her fabulous cake!
A Pretty "Lily Pulitzer" Cake for Emmi Mae!

What a fun family weekend for them;
Congrats to Kelly and Pat!

Happy 1st Birthday to Emmi Mae!

Happy 3rd Birthday Sami and Shay

My friend Brooke's nieces; Samantha and Shaylee just turned 3 and boy do these twins have the funniest little personalties.
Samantha wanted a Toy Story party and Shaylee wanted a Barbie party so we did cupcakes to combine the two themes. The girls have been planning their party for months (we spent many days on the beach this summer discussing details for these little ladies.)
They are the cutest, funniest, and the most bubbly 3 year olds. They're just so much fun to be around, they crack me up!

Here is a glimpse into the party:

The Birthday Princess'!

Hand made and painted cupcake toppers (these only took about 8 hours to complete)

Jumbo Cupcakes for each birthday girl!

Sami enjoying her cupcake!

Shaylee enjoying her cupcake!

Mrs. Potato Head was my personal favorite!

Happy 3rd Birthday Samantha and Shaylee!

Keepsake Chairs are wooden but all other decorations are edible.

Flavors include: Raspberry Cream, Banana Chocolate, Pumpkin Cream Cheese and Snickers Peanut Butter.

Some New Children's Cakes

Had a busy past few weeks with some new designs. Here are a bunch of Children's Cakes I have done lately.

Michael's Superhero Squad Cake. All fondant work with hand sculpted superhero faces. I  was pretty apprehensive about doing these faces but I'm getting a little better with practice and feel this ads a whole new element to my caking. Plus who wouldn't want to eat the head off their favorite superhero!

Happy 5th Birthday Michael!!!
Charlotte's God Father requested this Cupcake cake for the little Princess' 1st Birthday. All fondant work cupcake toppers with a matching "smash" cake for Charlotte to dive into.
Cupcake Flavors include;
Vanilla Peanut Butter, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Orange Creamsicle, Chocolate-Chocolate, Oreo, and Raspberry.

Happy 1st Birthday Charlotte!

Another 3D Thomas the Train Design for Tiz aka Tyler!

Happy 2nd Birthday Tyler!

Who Lives in a Pineapple Under The Sea?

Spongebob Square Pants for Aidan. Everything is edible except for Spongebob, Squidward, and Patrick which are plastic toys for the birthday boy.

Happy Birthday Aidan!

Elmo is a Favorite of children everywhere and this was the first time I had the chance to create him in 3D form. Everything is edible and the Cupcake Came off the Cake for Aubrey as the "smash cake".

Happy 2nd Birthday Aubrey, Elmo Loves you!

Birthdays, Babies and some Wine Cupcakes!

Sorry, It's been hectic lately and I have really been neglecting my postings.

Here are a few of the cakes I have done over the last few weeks:

Happy Birthday Karla!

MaKenna's Girlie Cakes
Happy Birthday Makenna

A gigantic cake made for a 50th Birthday party. This cake was massive, it weighed about 40 pound!
Made to look like gift boxes!
Flavors included: Vanilla with Raspberry Puree and Vanilla Buttercream, Chocolate with Vanilla Buttercream, and Chocolate Chip with Chocolate Buttercream.
Happy Birthday Lisa!

I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee!
Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream adorned with hand-made edible sugar bees.

Possibly one of the cutest cakes I have made. Everything is edible. The pattern along the sides of the cake were modeled after the nursery's bedding

Welcome Juliana Blake!

Snook From the PBS kids show: It's a Big Big World!
Thsi was my first try at a 2D cake. Not perfect but still learning!
Happy Birthday Kevin!

Pinot Grigio cupcakes Made for a Bridal Shower at a Vineyard.
Vanilla Cupcakes infused with a Pinot syrup, then topped with a special Pinot Buttercream.
This was the first time I had to completely make up my own recipie. I could not find one to save my life. I'm really happy with how they turned out, and the slight buzz you get from them helps as well!

Finally, a Cupcake Party for Maddie's 8th Birthday!

We set up this ultra Girly Party with a Shopping Boutique and a Cupcake Decorating Station.
The girls were given "Maddie Money" that they could spend in the boutique. The girls had a great time getting messy and spending "money" haha. The perfect party for the girliest girls!

The girls had a blast and we were exhausted by the end of the night, I'd say it was a success!
Happy Birthday Maddie!
